Perkin-Elmer Operetta CLS is a high throughput confocal
(spinning disk) and widefield fluorescence
microscope with sensitive sCMOS camera,
fluorescence filters and 4 LED light sources catering to the most common
fluorophores across the whole visible spectrum. Sample environment
control (temperature, carbon dioxide and humidity) and automated
immersion water delivery to water immersion objectives allow long
term live-cell experiments. Hardware autofocus ensures stable
focusing throughout long-term experiments.
Available
techniques:
- Transmitted light imaging (brightfield, computational phase contrast
- constructed 2 images acquired at different axial position)
- Widefield multi-channel fluorescence imaging with a fast and
sensitive camera
- Confocal (spinning disk) imaging
- Long-term time-lapse imaging of living cells (with environment
control and hardware autofocus)
- Fast multi-well plate screening
